Got up and fet the spirit of the Lord. Or maybe it was my heartburn again. Anyways I dropped in on the local parish in the heavily Polish neighborhood we are staying in. Classic Chicago neighborhood with little two story houses and L tracks running above, snow everywhere. Got inside the Church which was slightly smaller than the Astrodome. The 9:30 mass was ending and I realized it was all in Polish. Had to wait around for the 11 for an English version. As I left, enormous Mexican families rolled into the parking lot for the 12:30 Spanish version.
2008 pretty much sucked. At least we got Obama. And the best pro hockey team IN THE WORLD. Oh yeah, and I think I may have a job.
Lets go to The Trappist and swill some 10 proof beer when I get back on the 5th.
