What do you like about it??

Shall I break it down by quatrains? Did I say I liked it? I think I just posted that I listened to it.

But for the record, it's the best Metallica I've heard for twenty years. Is that you, Rein? Have you heard it? What don't you like about it?

My goodness

It's me indeed.

I just think it's a poor attempt to return to their glory days.

But at least they don't sound as a pop band anymore.

On another note. Have you seen Mad Men? What did you think? I just picked up the first season. I am almost done with The Wire and I am looking for a new addiction.

I still need to watch Deadwood as well...

I loved the first season of Mad Men but the second season bored me. You are wrong about the new Metallica. Deadwood is God.

I have spoken and here's this-

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!!

Would love to see him live again.

What did you think of his latest record with The New Orealns Hellhounds??

I really like it. It's filthy. The man is a menace. And we're seeing him next Friday night. If he lives.

I've been having a re-appreciation society for Andre lately. Silky is still my king, but it's only half good, as are the rest of the albums I have by him. But ten half-great records make a hell of a show.

Lookin' forward to it.

Wow, that's going to be great. Yes indeed I am jealous. Would love to come along.

The question remains- did any boobs go in any scotch the other night?

Yes they certainly did.

He was crowd surfing in a rubber boat while playing guitar during the first song... It got all wild from there...

Andre is going to be cool and Im all for rediscovering records. That said, winter sucks. In fact the only thing that keeps me going right about now is the knowledge that....

Pitchers and catchers have reported! Thank Christ!

Clearly, that will solve everything.

How was that wedding? Certainly, you must have stories of people saying wildly inappropriate things. And what happened to Sunday beer? I like Sunday beer.

" Just put it in the hole, " bellowed a female member of the bride's family. She was refering to how to put the mic back on the stand, but clearly understood the ramifications of her double entendre. The crowd went wild with whistles and cat calls.

Lots of cowboy hats, belt bucks, and country music. Many of the women frankly looked like hookers. The bride's daughter has 3 kids by 3 different men some of whom have done time.

The lot outside the Sportsmen's Lounge was unpaved, about 6 inches deep in rainwater and filled with American trucks. I made a point of being sure I was always seen drinking domestic beer. Honestly, I was scared.

Sorry about beers on Sunday, I woke up with a cold (my second of the year). I am also trying to nail down a paying job in the next month or so. Not only have I finally bored of myself, prices in SF are crashing for homes. I want to to take advantage of this. Even stuff in the fancy neighborhood's is 20-30% off.
