Some rock n roll

I saw Ty Seagall open up for the Dirtbombs last Saturday night. He looks like he 17, but plays like someone who really knows his cramps. While this record isnt as good as his live show, I really dig it. Raw, abrasive and full of piss.

The Sound? I mean...if they had Bob Dylan sing these songs would anyone not think it was just a new Bob Dylan album? I'm not saying its bad, but I can't help feeling like Gregg Cartwright sounds more adult everyday. Even more baffling that it took them 4 years to come out with this???

In 2009, it was the other Oblivian who put out the better record.

Yea, I ain't going either, but it's also free. Four venues, one day, with huge payouts going to the bands. Odd.

Budget rock purchased.

Budget rock is going to be the shit.

I wanna see the evening shows on friday, Sat and Sunday night. Any idea who's gonna play the TBA show?

I don't know anything other than Back to School Night is a horrible drag for parents. Do elementary teachers have no sense of humor?

By the way, apparently there has been a huge shitstorm over Budget Rock tickets. The passes sold out in miracle time, and folks are pissed. Consider your pass more valuable, and now you owe me like 5 thousand dollars. Cash.

I'm the former drummer of the Busted Lives. I should be comp'ed at every show. Who do these little people think they are?

Let's put out a Busted Lives greatest hits on pink vinyl. Collector scum need to worship us.

Can you explain why Budget Rock is in SF this year?

And did you know the Bay Bridge won't be completed until 2013???? Here I thought we were nearing the end.
