Yesterdays Giants Rockies game was sweet. Huff looked good at the plate, but crappy in the field. Bowler and Shierholtz hit the ball well even if they weren't for hits. Stangely DeRosa and Renteria were no shows.
Off to Cubs White Sox. Gonna get my Old Style on.
Cubs nation is insane. Drinking in the parking lot at 11AM. Old Styles. Sold out game in MARCH!
And the Cubbies suck. They are working on year 102 without a World Series win. Not that your Giants look any better. I saw one game but it was the same old story...none of the prospects appear to be anything but AAA fodder and the veterans looked old. Im praying Nick Shierholtz isnt a bust.

How is the Scottsdale stadium? More importantly, how were the bars?
the stadium is great. Supposedly the best in the cactus league. Ive been to the Cubs facility and the giants is way better.
the bars are great if you are 21, wear a baseball cap on backwards and like boom chicka boom music. The bros and their skanky gfs rule the scne as far as I can tell. funniest moment was coming down the htoel elevator with a 30 something gaint fan who looked at me and just blurted out..."this town sucks."
The non nature-y areas of Phoenix and Scottsdale should be burned to the ground.

Oakland has two new clubs- the East Bay Express (that is correct, sir) is opening a club down the street from the new punk rock beer spot and The Zeros, The Mutants and No Alternative will be there opening night.
