Goddammit I would love to come... But hey still stuck down under.

On a completely different note I have to congratulate you with the USA win over Spain. I honestly didn't see that one coming. They are not that bad after all. Of course in football hating America there won't be much coverage, but this is an amazing upset. You can be rightly proud of the USA. They made it to the final of the confederations cup, I know this ain't the World Cup, but still a lot of people are watching. They are probably up against Brazil in the final, who are playing South Africa tonight. Better tune in.

yea,I watched the entire game- the Spaniards dominated play, but the US played with such heart- it was inspiring to see how deeply they dug into their personal reservoirs to keep knocking dangerous balls out of play. considering what a miracle it was that they made the semi, this victory is even more astonishing. Brazil will crush us in the final, but at least they didn't completely embarrass themselves.

What are you listening to, Rein?

I have been listening to the

Dinosaur Jr. - Farm which I liked
Steve Earle - Townes also pretty good
To keep with D. jr. I gave Sebadoh - III a good spin, but I am not sure about that one
Corrosion of Conformity - Blind going back to my teenage years is sometimes interesting Same goes for Sepultura - Beneath the Remains...
Hüsker Dü
And The Cramps comp you send me...

What about you? Any tips you might think I would dig?

Corrosion of Conformity. That's just awesome, dude.

Rein, we will raise a glass in your honor tomorrow night. I'm expecting these guys are going to absolutely crush it. And price? $8. Wish you wee here.

On a side note...It is just astounding to me how poorly compensated the best artists are while utter crap is paid millions.

But at least tomorrow I will get to see one of the best bands of the last 10 years play inside of tiny club while my ears are blown out.

Band was great, night was fun, the singer kinda seemed liked a bozo. Also the Hemlock kinda sucks to see bands. Still, if the really do break up at least I got to see em before it ended for good.
