OK, if it wasn't already, it certainly is now- I am old. I watched Superbad last night and I did not think it was ridiculously hilarious. Most of it was stupid, and most of the jokes relied on teenagers laughing at sex references. The whole wacky cops stuff was embarrassing. I actually liked the charming male love stuff more than the raunchy jokes.

I feel like the codger shaking his head at these kids today, but Belushi and Murray and Chase had timing and facial expressions and patience and setups and big moments, not just a flurry of dick jokes. Hell, I didn't think Knocked Up was all that either.

Fuck it. I'm gonna buy some expensive Belgians tonight and sit down with Diner. And I'm gonna laugh. And shake my head at the kids.
