I just watched The King of Kong. Amazing. Billy Mitchell is the most evil person to be captured on film since Richard Hatch on the first Survivor. America produces some mind boggling "people."

fantastic film- not nearly as good but still interesting is Surfwise, the story of this doctor who raised his nine kids in a camper, forbidding them to go to school and demanding that they surf everyday. It didn't work out all that well for him, but it's fairly compelling stuff

That Saturday line-up is awesome- I like the top five bands

Looking good for tomorrow. I will call you after my interview but expect me on College Ave around 4. Oh, and Brad may be there.

cool- I can't stop listening to Dead Moon- or drinking- or watching bad movies- or reading Cormac McCarthy- or eating burgers (I'm still going with Luka's as the best in the East Bay, and with Belgians to boot)- I also have a sunburn, and my v-sac continues to cause discomfort

EVERYBODY FUCKING CAUGHT UP?

Rolling Stones weren't available...they're playing a three night stand at The Hemlock that weekend.

HYPSTRZ (Bomp! records vets, look up "garage punk" in dictionary)
C'MON EVERYBODY (Tina Boom Boom, R.Quan, Jay Rosen, Richie B and Yea Ming do glam rock)

Friday, October 24
ROY HEAD (Texas legend "guy")
ROY LONEY & THE PHANTOM MOVERS (heard he sucks balls, was in some band from a long time ago)
EAST BAY GREASE (Harold Ray does cock country)
APACHE (hairy, makes Time Flys look like Minor Threat)
SIR LORD VON RAVEN (Greg Ashley glam wank)
TOUCH ME NOTS (they're married)

Saturday, October 25
HUMAN EYE (Alice Cooper joins Chrome after having anal sex with the entire cast of Rocky Horror)
HANK IV (...pretty good...)
LAMPS (hate)
HAUNTED GEORGE (tequila with sand in it)
NOTHING PEOPLE (too smart for this)
MANTLES (paisley meets pussy meets actual good songs)
WOUNDED LION (prepare to be blown)
MAYYORS (you might die)
BARE WIRES (Memphis transplant grows stache, forms band)
NODZZZ (Weezer without the whole "chicks like them" thing)

Sunday, October 26
HEAD (would kill CJ and Marky given the opportunity)
TOP TEN (as featured on the K-Tel comp "East Bay Garage Of The 2000's")
THEE MAKEOUT PARTY (genetically engineered power-poppers bordering on creepiness equal to or greater than the blondes in "Village Of The Damned")
THE PETS (hey, they have an LP out)
MERCY WIFEBEATERS (everyone in this band is famous)
LATEENOS (the Mexican Body Count + farfisa)
PHOTOBOOTH (some people thought FM Knives were good)
HUNX & HIS PUNX (homosexual powerpop, no really)
BUZZER (pub meets proto meets juvinile detention center rec room)
PERSONAL AND THE PIZZAS (the greatest band to ever walk the face of god's green earth)
SHANNON AND THE CLAMS (chicks)
