Thanks Tom for tipping me off about this. Its been a few days since me and Sonny saw these dudes play in a small club the night after they were on Letterman. I still haven't calmed down. They are the real deal and the whole package. They are great players, right great tunes and put on a real freakin show sans irony. If anyone knows another band half this good, let me know. Right now, I say they are king of the WOLRD.

I don't know about important but fun, certainly, and that's enough.
Fun is very important. Indie rock nearly killed it. And a hardy fuck you to the hipsters too cool to be as unabashed as The Jim Jones Revue.
