I'm struggling with Saturday morning cuz of Lucas's basketball practices. Saturday evening? How is the new job going?

Let me check my schedule when I get home.

Job is going to either pan out or not in the next month or so. Start up thing so we'll all see if this is a real business soon.

Separately, is there no end to the patience Warrior fans have? Just curious to get people's take.

Apparently, there is no end to their patience. I went to a game not long ago and the place was rocking on a Sunday night. Playoff atmosphere. Absolutely deafening when they won at the end. The tickets were over two hundred bucks, too (I did not pay, clearly).

I'm not sure what to say about that. Part of me says it's beautiful, and part of me thinks it's a seller's market in a Bay Area with far more than 19,000 fans willing to see the only product in town, which means they know they can rebuild and not worry about crashes in season ticket holders. That said, I think they're trying to win, but this front-office power-grab between Rowell and Mullin has obviously hurt the good feelings of "We Believe." People forget that the Warriors were 48-34 last year. which was six games better than the previous season when they beat the Mavericks. Injuries, no Baron, bad-fit Maguette and a tiring Nellie all add to this year's fiasco.

I'm now out Thursday. Friday for lunch?

Sonny, I am like you re the Warriors. Clearly there are lots of people who love pro basketball and as long as the W's keep it close at home the crowds will keep paying. That's cool I guess. It sure would be more fun if the Ws were relevant to playoff discussions bc management understood what it requires personnel wise to get there.

Go Sharks.
