It's a day for the Poles after so much tragedy. Pavelski is the new pope, and maybe the resurrection and the life. He who believes in him will live an even more intensely tortured life.
Game 5 is Thursday, 7:30 at the Tank.

Its funny how aetheists always find their way back to JC in moments of crisis. Christ is your only hope, Sonny. Pray.
And speaking of matters of faith, am I supposed to jsut believe that the hitting this year will be better than last night's atrocious output?
I can understand why Catholics might be a bit, gulp, touchy these days.
These are your San Francisco Giants- only marginally better at the plate- Renteria's last ten games are a better reflection of his skills than the first four. The lineup is extremely fragile, and as hard to fathom as this might be, the whole thing collapsed when Rowand went down. Rowand. And the kids just ain't very good. Velez is streaky and then a Single A hitter. Bowker just can't do it in the Show. Don't make me spell Nate S.'s name. Torres? Not a major leaguer. At a certain point, if you haven't produced, you're probably not going to. If you have no minor league options left, there might just be a reason.
But every five days, Timmy pitches, so there's that.
I'm willing to give Bowker and Shierholtz more time. And Posey, Darren Ford and even Downs. If they suck over the course of the year, well at least we got a definitive answer.
It's the Aubrey Huff's, Molina, Garcia, etc who drive me nuts.
Have given Eddy Current Suppression Ring a good spin the last few days (their latest record Rush to Relax) and have to admit Mr. Derr you were right. It's a really fun record. I think they are playing in Sydney soon, so I see if I can catch them (I think they are playing The Annandale).
In other news I have booked my trip to The Netherlands and will arrive on the 23rd of July. I am really looking forward to seeing you all. Book in a day/night we can go on the piss. I will be flying sans family, but I thought you already knew that. I will be alone and based in Utrecht for three weeks.
Tony, how are the babies coming along? Getting nervous? Hope all is well.
looking forward to seeing you, Rein. Damn, four years? We'll miss your family but hopefully you'll have the chance to see all your friends.
And I recommend that first two ECSR records as well, especially the first one. Love 'em both. I still haven't gotten my ears around Rush to Relax, immersed as I am in metal during the hockey playoffs. Current anthem is by the worst named group ever- Every Time I Die's "Werewolf." You might like it- I can only take the stuff in small doses but that is an anthem worth airpunching.
You gave me ECSR's first record and will give it a play again. I have to say the first time it didn't do much for me, but after really liking their third record I am sure I will be game for their first two as well.
It's been four long years. Last time we boozed was during the world cup. Wow. I didn't even have two daughters by that stage. A lot has happened since. I am really looking forward to catching up. Will be great no doubt about that.
I am a bit off metal these days. All those new bands somehow seems to bore me a bit. Having said that though have you heard of Black Cobra? I think they are from the bay area and I really like their last record. I also thought High on Fire's last record was pretty damn good. I will download Werewolf... Currently listening to an old Gluecifer record.
